SIZING

Find your perfect fit from four sizes—Classic, Sport, XL, and Kids.

  • Both Classic and Sport fit most adults (ages 11+) within a 43–56 cm head circumference. The Sport offers a slightly more streamlined shape for performance/lap swimmers.
  • For larger heads or voluminous hairstyles, the XL (51–61 cm) is ideal
  • The Kids size (38–49 cm) provides a secure fit for younger swimmers.

Simply measure around your head where the cap will sit, and pick the size that best matches your measurements.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

For best results, gently hand wash your item with a mild detergent in cool water.

Hang it up to dry completely, ensuring it retains its shape and quality for long-lasting use.

Standard shipping is free on orders over $50 and usually arrives within 3–5 business days.

Just send back your item in its original, saleable condition—returns within 30 days, exchanges within 60 days, or warranty claims within a year—and we’ll take care of the rest.

What makes the Hairbrella Swim Cap different from other swim caps?

The Hairbrella Swim Cap is more like a hat, and less like a torture device. It has a structured, waterproof exterior that gently covers your hair and insulates it from the water. Compare that to a traditional latex cap that stretches over your head and relies on tension to stay put. Then there's the satin-lined interior that keeps your hair safe from breakage, tugging and pulling.

Is this swim cap actually waterproof?

Yes! The exterior shell is made from 100% waterproof material and closes with a performance clasp. The adjustable band creates a watertight seal around your head, to keep water out and your hair dry.

Does it work for thick or long hair?

Absolutely. We offer multiple sizes to fit different hair lengths and styles. Whether you have braids, locs, or a full afro, there’s a Hairbrella Swim Cap that fits comfortably without squishing your hair.

What sizes are available?

We offer four sizes:

  • Classic: Best for short to shoulder-length hair.
  • XL: Great for longer, thicker styles like braids or locs.

Can I use it for lap swimming?

Yes! If you're swimming for time, we recommend the Sport size for lap swimmers. It’s designed to be streamlined while you swim, so you can focus on your strokes, not your cap.

How do I care for my Hairbrella Swim Cap?

Hand wash or machine wash on cold and hang dry. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Treat it with love, and it’ll last you a long time.

Is this cap latex-free?

Yes! Our swim cap is 100% latex-free, making it perfect for sensitive skin.

A labor of love! I'm thrilled to introduce our new swim cap. We have had some exciting releases, but this is the one I've looked forward to the most.

I've been working on it for two years and refused to cut any corners to make sure it was perfect for my Hairbrella community. It is truly the swim cap I wish I'd had growing up. The ones on the market were uncomfortable and made me feel like one of the "Coneheads".

I knew there had to be another way!
